This includes monitoring site instrumentation, managing tailings spigot changes and cyclone operations, and overseeing water supply, storage, and treatment systems. The role plays a key part in ensuring operational and environmental requirements are met safely and efficiently.Key responsibilities include:Operating and maintaining tailings disposal systems and equipmentMonitoring site instrumentation for safe tailings operationsSupporting tailings deposition plans and maintaining recordsManaging water supply, storage systems, and treatment facilitiesPreparing shift change communicationsLiaising with production teams to ensure continuity of operationsAbout youThe ideal candidate will hold a High School Certificate and have experience in tailings facility operations, processing plant environments, and poly welding. You will have a mechanical aptitude, strong literacy and numeracy skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
