Our school cleaners play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our students, staff and visitors.There are multiple positions available. The successful applicants will be engaged in shifts, 4:30am - 8:30am, 2:00pm - 6:00pm or both, with a split shift allowance payable as required. The aim for our students is to be ''Learning, Achieving and Growing Every Day'' constantly challenged and inspired.Make Your MarkThe role involves a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties aimed at ensuring a clean and safe school environment.Cleaning windows, doors, sinks, drinking fountains, lavatory basins, glassware, and cupboards, as well as sanitising toilet facilities and sick bays. It also includes maintaining equipment, controlling cobwebs and mildew using extendable tools, and cleaning various surfaces such as concrete, bitumen, asphalt, and paved areas.Cleaning tasks include dusting furniture and equipment, sweeping, vacuuming, removing graffiti, and maintaining vinyl and timber floors, including buffing, stripping, and polishing.Security-related tasks include activating and deactivating school security systems, and locking or unlocking buildings as needed. The role also involves liaising with the Principal or Business Manager regarding the purchase and replacement of cleaning materials.
