$60,000 - $70,000 Depending on experienceFor Pastry Chef or Patisserie Chef to create high-quality pastries and desserts for a renowned caf group.A permanent full-time role within a dynamic, chef-led environment.Requires: Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in a high-standard kitchen, skilled in laminated doughs and scratch-made pastries.Salary guide: $60,000 - $70,000 Depending on experienceLocation: Newcastle Region of NSW.Your normal day will involve:Preparing a variety of in-house pastries, doughs, and seasonal specials from scratch in a fully equipped production kitchen.Managing your own prep list while collaborating with the kitchen team to meet daily production needs.Working with croissant doughs, laminated pastry, and weekend specials while maintaining the highest food safety standards.Employing professional bakery equipment such as dough rollers, mixers, provers, and ovens.Bringing your creativity to the table by contributing to seasonal menu ideas in partnership with the head chef.Organising your day efficiently to ensure high-quality products are ready for distribution across multiple caf venues.Role overview:Join a talented kitchen team where your passion for quality pastries shines through.
