This position also requires installation and maintenance of new and existing plant and equipment. Weekday Maintenance Electrician positions are available at our Parkhurst Plant and Kunwarara Operations, with opportunities to take on Supervisory duties.About YouYour knowledge, quality and safety are vital to your success in this role. Your experience will also include:Ongoing commitment to workplace safetyStrong teamwork and ability to work automatously.Highly motivated and ability to be versatile.Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.Punctual and reliableAbout The RoleYou will be involved in:Operate in accordance with QMAGs Core Values at all times.Install new and maintain current equipment to ensure reliable operation.Assist all members of QMAG in need of assistance with electrical faults associated with the function of the plant.Inspecting electrical works to maintain Australian Standards (AS-3000).PLC and Citect programming modifications when required.Installation and calibration of all plant Instruments, belts weighers, weighing platforms, load calibration and testing.Developing and installing various control systems to improve the efficiency and productivity of existing plant operations.Conduct routine preventive maintenance tasks on the plant.Repair and fault find during breakdowns.Identify, initiate, and implement plant improvement opportunities.Undertake minor project work to improve plant performance and safety.Review work procedures and PMs and provide feedback to ensure the maintenance system remains current.Utilise the computer-based maintenance system SAP to record work history and parts usage.Day Crew Electrician: Participate in a periodic On-Call coverage during shift electrician leave.The RequirementsWe are looking for people with the following:Electrical Fitter/Mechanic Trade CertifiedCurrent LVR/CPR CertificatesManual LicenceHighly DesirableEWP Elevated Work PlatformWorking at HeightsConfined Space Entry and ResponsibleInstrumentation and Control ExperienceHigh Voltage SwitchingFixed Plant experience as a Maintenance ElectricianQMAG Benefits and CultureYou can look forward to working within an inclusive corporate culture that puts people first and always ensures our employees'' health and safety.
