We are seeking a proactive and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our Maryborough macadamia operations. This hands-on leadership role will support the development of large-scale farming systems by maintaining farm plant and equipment, leading repairs, and contributing to the design and improvement of machinery and infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:Maintaining and repairing farm plant and equipment to minimise downtimeDeveloping a workshop maintenance plan and documentationLeading the safe and timely delivery of workshop and field maintenance tasksAssisting in the design, modification, and installation of new and existing farming equipmentProtecting and maintaining company assets across multiple farm sitesContributing to maintenance budgets and capital expenditure planningSupporting safety systems, processes, and training in line with WHS requirementsActing as a role model for safe and ethical work behaviourSupervising or working independently across various farm locationsThe following criteria are essential to be successful in this position:Certificate III or higher in an Engineering trade (mechanical)At least 5 years of relevant trade experience, ideally in an agricultural settingStrong skills in plant maintenance, troubleshooting, and fabricationExperience with farm irrigation systems, GPS, and machinery (preferred)Sound computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookCurrent C-class drivers licenceForklift licence (required)Additional tickets (crane, loader, rigger/dogger) are advantageousExcellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skillsA competitive salary dependent on experience and qualificationsOngoing training and development opportunitiesSalary continuance insurance and life insurance (subject to eligibility criteria)Annual discretionary bonus (subject to eligibility criteria)Access to Employee Assistance ProgramHow to Apply:Please submit your cover letter addressing the requirements and key responsibilities, along with your resume to people@ruralfunds.com.au by 15 August 2025.Please note that candidates may be evaluated as applications are received.About Rural Funds Management:Rural Funds Management (RFM) is an industry leader managing approximately $2.5 billion in agricultural assets on behalf of retail and institutional investors, including the ASX-listed Rural Funds Group (RFF).
