Hospital Medical Officer (October/November 2025 Start)Alfred Health is a leader in health care delivery, improvement, research, and education. We are the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne, offering ambulatory, inpatient, and home and community-based services.We are seeking applications from Hospital Medical Officers/Resident Medical Officers (HMO/RMOs) who aim to enhance their training in a tertiary hospital setting. Our hospital network provides a comprehensive range of healthcare services across three hospital campuses, supported by community programs and statewide services.We are looking for positive, committed, and inspiring HMO/RMOs dedicated to delivering exceptional care and achieving outstanding outcomes. We prioritize training high-quality doctors and providing excellent education and support for our staff.Applications are invited from suitably qualified HMO/RMOs who will be in postgraduate year 3/3+ in 2025. Available rotations may include, but are not limited to, Aged Community, Cardiothoracic, Emergency, General Medicine, General Surgery/HPB, Haematology, Medical Reliever, Neurosurgery, Plastics, and Trauma. Applicants should specify their preferred key rotations in their application.Successful candidates should expect to complete rotations across any of our three campuses: Sandringham Hospital, Caulfield Hospital, and The Alfred Hospital. Only applicants with General Registration with AHPRA will be considered, due to the start date.
