With over 5,000 projects delivered in over 50 countries across 20 different commodity types, we are the trusted advisor to resource companies, financial institutions, equity investors, and government agencies.Our service delivery is across mine advisory, feasibility and mine optimisation studies, engineering and asset management, project services, safety, health & risk, and decarbonisation.About the positionDue to continued growth in our Mine Optimisation and Advisory team, we are searching for a Senior Mine Planning Engineer. This role can be based from our Newcastle, Brisbane or Wollongong offices.You will work as a key part of an integrated team with other like-minded individuals who are focused on being the best mining professionals in the industry. You will be challenged with a range of complex projects that require unique solutions that add value to our clients operations.About youYou will have a strong understanding of underground mine planning, mine design and mine scheduling, which you will use to lead the successful execution of projects for our valued clients.You will have a minimum of 3-5 years operational experience in underground coal mines, along with short, medium and long term mine planning and mine studies (i.e. Concept, Pre-feasibility and Feasibility).Understanding the importance of managing client relationships and expectations is a must to be effective in the role.
