Our small and friendly team are what make this experience memorable.About the RoleWe are seeking casual Zip-Line guides to join the Zip-Line team at Otway Fly Treetop Adventures. As a Zip-Line guide, your primary responsibility is to conduct daily Zip-Line tours through a wet sclerophyll / cool temperate rainforest within Otway National Park. Further responsibilities include:Conducting and managing efficient guided tours through the rainforest.Adhering to the Otway Fly Zip-Line tour Standard Operating Procedures and Code of Safe Working Practice at all times.Demonstrating excellent communication with team members and guests.Preparing for tours by greeting guests, delivering safety briefs, and conducting safety checks such as harness and helmet fittings.Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation of the attraction.Assisting in safety supervision during the zip-line tours.Please note: This role requires weekend and school holiday availability.About YouYou hold a current first aid certificate and a VIC Working with Childrens Check (or are willing to obtain one). Holding a working at heights and high ropes qualification is highly desirable, along with prior tourism industry experience. You should be physically fit and capable of safely leading zip-line tours. Strong communication skills, rapport-building abilities, flexibility, and good planning, organizational, and time management skills are also important.
