Located 3 hours west from Melbourne.The Concrete Batcher/Agi Driver has excellent career development potential with the opportunity to learn about concrete, quarry materials, plant operation, concrete batching, scheduling, and logistics whilst working in the construction industry.Along with batching, you will also have the opportunity to get in the truck to deliver our product to our customers.If you do not already hold a valid HR licence - the opportunity to obtain one is on offer for the right candidate.In your new role with us, you will be:Overseeing the operation of a concrete batch plantOperating a front-end loader (FEL)Regularly interacting with customers, taking orders & scheduling deliveriesWorking in a high performing team, collaborating with other local plants to deliver positive outcomes for Heidelberg Materials Australia and the customerAble to demonstrate safety and show leadership potentialEnsure all products adhere to strict quality requirementsMonitoring all plant and equipment, scheduling & conducting maintenance as requiredManaging maintenance & production tasks, which includes some level of manual handlingDelivering concrete to customersThis role is a great fit for you, if you:Are an effective communicator, have a team mentality and ability to work unsupervisedSeek a flexible roster that includes Saturday work and overtimeHold a Heavy Rigid (HR) licenceAre looking to obtain Construction Card / White CardAre able to operate with and support our Zero Harm safety policyCan physically perform all tasks associated with the positionWhat we offer:$31.77p/hour, plus penalties, plus superMonday Friday, generally 6:00/7:00am 3:30/4:00pmRostered half day Saturdays, working on average 3 p/month10-day training program on how to operate the agitator and slump concreteOpportunity to obtain HR licence for the right candidateFEL ticket (if not already achieved)Be part of highly recognized global brand name and growing organizationOngoing training and development opportunitiesOur BenefitsAt Heidelberg Materials Australia, we understand that your well-being and professional growth are essential.
