The successful candidate will have evidence of their Responsible Service of Alcohol (SA) and Basic Gaming Certificates as requirements of the role. Ideally, applicants will have their Responsible Person badge and Advanced Gaming certificate or be willing to gain these.Ensure excellent and professional customer service at all timesSet up and reset specific activities as directedUndertake general waiting and service duties of food and beveragesProficient in the professional service/supply, dispensing/mixing of liquor and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beveragesEnsure all gaming areas are cleaned to the required standardEnsure all gaming furniture and equipment are maintained to the required standardEnsure correct lighting/music/amenities and general ambiance of the gaming room is maintained to the required standardEnsure food, coffee & beverage presentation to the guests is to the required standardAbility to mix a wide range of sophisticated cocktailsAbility is required to attend TAB or electronic gaming terminalsCommunicate and liaise with team members, kitchen, and other areas of operationsEfficient and thorough knowledge of the point-of-sale operating systemMust participate and achieve targets of add-on sales, up-selling, and spend per headTo maintain the clean and neat presentation of the work area bar and or restaurant area(s) by adherence to all operating policies and proceduresFollow Standard Operational Procedures and/or Safe Work Procedures for all areas of the hotel at all times as per WHS Act 2012Ensure personal compliance with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)Any other duties directed by ManagementHospitality Industry General AwardABOUT YOUThe successful candidate will have a friendly and approachable character with excellent communication skills and initiative.Flawless customer service with a consistently positive attitudeReliable, flexible, and excellent communication skillsProficient English language skillsEager to learn, grow and developKnowledge of relevant work health and safety legislation and food safety standardsCompetent and trustworthy cash-handling skillsAustralian residents or unrestricted visa holders onlyImmediate start availableRSA and Basic Gaming CertificateWilling to obtain RP and Advanced Gaming CertificateHOW TO APPLYApply online and have your current resume ready to upload or pop in and speak with a Manager!Complete all questions in the application (approx. 10 minutes)We look forward to hearing from you!Mount Gambier Hotel5290 #J-18808-Ljbffr
