Position:ElectricianLocation:Western Suburbs, MelbourneContract Duration:3 Months (initially)Start Date:ImmediateAbout the Role:Our client are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our team for an exciting Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in theWestern Suburbs, Melbourne area. This 3-month contract role will involve installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, primarily in the renewable energy sector. You will be working with a dynamic team on a cutting-edge project that supports Australias transition to cleaner energy solutions.Key Responsibilities:Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for BESS projects.Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and regulations.Perform electrical testing, fault diagnosis, and troubleshooting.Work collaboratively with engineers and project managers to meet project milestones.Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.Support commissioning and handover processes.Key Requirements:Certificate III in Electrotechnology (Electrician) or equivalent.Valid Electrical License and relevant industry certifications.Prior experience in industrial electrical work preferred.Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication skills and a proactive approach to work.Current White Card (or willingness to obtain).Ability to work in regional and remote areas.Benefits:Competitive hourly rate.Opportunity to work on an innovative renewable energy project.Gain valuable experience in the growing BESS sector.If youre an experienced Electrician looking to contribute to an exciting project and further your career in the renewable energy sector, wed love to hear from you! #J-18808-Ljbffr
