Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator, you will be required to manage and lead a diverse and talented maintenance team, both mechanical and electrical.This challenging and rewarding role will require you to:Supervise and Lead Maintenance Crew in maintaining Refinery assets and supporting Business Plan ObjectivesMaximise plant availability through adequate execution of preventative, corrective and unplanned maintenance tasks, prioritising and making decisions accordingly, timely escalation where requiredCommunicate closely with all other work groups and departments.Conduct regular compliance audits and workplace inspectionsBe task focused and prepared to work with others to achieve daily targets and outcomes.Challenge the status quo and operate under the belief thatall injuries are avoidableThink logically to solve problems and create valueYou will have the following skillset and attributes:Supervisory experience and a Mechanical TradeA minimum of 5 years previous experience within the mining or heavy industry environmentStrong organisational skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities,Demonstrated high level of communication and interpersonal skills along with a professional work standardA commitment to safety and the ability to engage others in that commitmentThe following would also be highly regarded:Proven experience in fault finding and troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systemsKnowledge and maintenance experience of centrifugal and screw type pumpsHands-on experience with fixed plant maintenanceSAP experienceTrainer / assessor experienceS1, S2, S3Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office SuiteThis position is residential based in Townsville and requires you to work a 4x4 - 12-hour Day/Night roster.For further information please contact: Andrew Fabbro on 07 4781 8327.Applications close: 8am Wednesday, 6th August 2025 #J-18808-Ljbffr
