Barossa North Vineyards are composed of iconic vineyards including Kalimna, Koonunga Hill, Block 42 and some newer plantings in Ebenezer and Moculta (Eden Valley). Super-premium quality fruit is at the heart of these sites, and they are well positioned to deliver! Reporting to the ANZ Vineyard Operations Manager, youll lead large-scale, best-in-class vineyard operations for Australias most iconic wine brand, Penfolds. With a focus on super-premium fruit, youll drive quality, tonnage, and team performance through expert viticulture, strong leadership, and commercial acumen. Success means delivering luxury fruit to spec - every time:Extensive Penfolds Brand emersion, supporting best in-class experiences for our luxury customersEnsuring fruit meets end-use specifications and delivers outstanding customer valueManage capital and operating budgets, optimise asset utilisation, and lead capital projectsDrive business planning and execute site strategies aligned with regional objectivesMinimise production costs while maintaining fruit quality standardsIntegrate best viticultural practices and foster innovation across operationsAlign workforce structure with seasonal and business needs; support administration and maintenance functionsLead and develop the vineyard team, cultivating a performance-driven, engaged culture based on TWE BehavioursOversee HSE compliance and continuous improvement to minimise loss and maximise profitManage a 5-year grape supply plan in collaboration with supply chain partnersSupport brand development and represent the company to internal and external stakeholdersParticipate in vineyard operations to enhance quality, efficiency, and process improvementAbout you To be successful for this role, you will bring:Bachelor or equivalent level tertiary education in Viticulture or a closely related field5+ years relevant industry experience in at-scale setting and demonstrated ability to manage an extensive business unit whilst maintaining super premium fruit standards.Experience in a leadership role in viticulture or related business.Commercial acumen.Human Resource Management experienceExcellent communication skills both written, verbal in interpersonalComputer literacy particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookDemonstrated ability to lead a work teamDemonstrated Innovation and Continuous Improvement leadership and performanceThe Supply Way"Our Supply Brand Vision is to be the custodians of TWE''s present and future, and the partner of choice for our divisions, customers and suppliers.
