We are seeking an experienced General Manager Manufacturing to join our senior leadership team and lead our multi-site dairy operations across Victoria.There is a requirement for this role to be able to travel weekly between our Kyabram and Geelong fresh milk processing facilities.About the RoleAs General Manager Manufacturing, you will be responsible for overseeing all facets of our manufacturing operations. This includes driving plant performance, ensuring product quality, managing costs, and leading a high-performing cross-functional team. You will play a critical role in shaping and executing the companys manufacturing strategy, with a focus on continuous improvement, compliance, and customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement strategic manufacturing plans aligned with overall business goals.Lead multi-site operations, ensuring safety, quality, production targets and delivery standards are consistently met.Manage engineering and maintenance programs across all facilities.Drive cost efficiencies through budget ownership, performance monitoring, and lean practices.Build and mentor a strong leadership team, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and innovation.Oversee compliance with industry standards, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Supply Chain, Sales, and HR to ensure alignment and business success.Represent manufacturing operations in executive strategy discussions and board reporting.What Youll BringBachelor''s degree in Food Science, Dairy Technology, Engineering, or a related field.10+ years'' leadership experience in large-scale dairy or food manufacturing environments.Demonstrated success in managing multi-site teams and delivering continuous improvement initiatives.Strong financial and commercial acumen with experience owning manufacturing P&L.Advanced knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and ERP systems.Exceptional leadership, communication, and change management skills.Strategic and analytical thinkingOperational excellence and executionTeam leadership and talent developmentQuality and compliance focusThis is a rare opportunity to make a significant impact in a senior leadership role within a growing and values-driven organisation.
