The role The System Engineer/Senior System Engineer Air Traffic Management (ATM) will contribute during the tender, execution, and delivery phases of ATM projects. They will interface between ATM product design, system developers, Saab teams, and customers to deliver improvements and perform project-specific tasks. Responsibilities include requirements analysis, developing specifications, and participating in design and validation of solutions. Success requires motivation, critical thinking, and an interest in complex software systems. Further, the candidate will: Contribute to ATM project realization Map customer requirements to Saabs ATM products Coordinate with software teams for customer-specific solutions Develop interface specifications, design documents, and test plans Present at reviews and test the system in factory and on site About you Your skills and experience should include: 5+ years ATM domain expertise (preferred) Knowledge of infrastructure, network, security, XML, Linux Experience with virtualization technologies Systems engineering processes High-level requirements derivation and system design Ability to interpret technical documentation Problem-solving within project constraints Technical report writing Strong communication skills and teamwork Australian citizenship is preferred for security clearance purposes.
