The position is based in our Perth office, and is a permanent full-time role. Flexible working or part-time arrangements will also be considered.Reporting to the General Counsel & Company Secretary, the key responsibilities of this role include:Providing strategic and commercial legal advice to support the continuity of our business and the development of our projectsSupporting our Sales & Marketing team, including by advising on sales and marketing strategies, drafting and negotiating critical mineral sales and offtake agreements, and advising on a range of international trade and commercial mattersSupporting Ilukas project delivery teams, including by drafting, negotiating and advising on key procurement, construction and operational contractsSupporting Ilukas business development teams, including in relation to joint venture arrangements, feedstock supply agreements, and acquisitions and divestmentsFacilitating and delivering training to our workforce on key legal and regulatory obligations and developments affecting our businessInstructing and managing external lawyersAbout youTo be successful for this role, you will have:A law degree and an Australian legal practising certificate (please state month/year and jurisdiction of admission in your application)Proven experience at a law firm or equivalent in-house experience, ideally with demonstrated post admission experience in one or more of the following areas: sales and marketing, corporate and commercial, mining and construction projectsExperience in international commodity sales and offtake agreements and construction/mining related claims management will also be considered favourablyThe ability to build strong and effective positive working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholdersEffective communication skills, and demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills, in order to confidently lead interactions with senior internal and external stakeholders and counterpartiesA strategic mindset focused on continuous improvement and the bigger picture, to meet the needs of an evolving businessA commitment to working efficiently, effectively and collaboratively to deliver outcomes for our businessFlexible working arrangementsAbility to purchase additional annual leaveCompetitive salary and bonus structuresUp to 18 weeks paid parental leaveAccess to a state-of-the-art gym in our Perth buildingIluka Resources is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages Indigenous Australians and females to apply.
