We value those with sharp, analytical minds and are open to challenging the way things are done.The teamThe Evidence Services team is responsible for the processing, analysis and management of evidence received by ASIC. The team provides evidence collection, management and analysis services using various databases and litigation support tools to assist ASIC''s regulatory teams to prepare and present evidence in court and similar environments.The roleAs a Manager, Evidence Services Consulting Analysts, you will:Manage one of ASIC''s national ES Consulting Analyst teams (up to 10 people) to achieve ASIC''s Evidence Analysis strategy and ensure the best use of emerging evidence management technologies and tools.Manage the workload of the ES Consulting Analyst team to ensure that Enforcement''s needs for evidence analysis support are met within agreed timeframes and standards.Use your considerable knowledge and practical experience of eDiscovery processes (including analytics and predictive coding functions) to guide ES Consulting Analysts and regulatory team members in reducing the time taken to undertake investigations and to improve the quality of evidence review.Manage the implementation of strategies for evidence review in partnership with stakeholders including ways to identify and analyse evidence from a variety of sources using different software.Establish procedures, guidelines and service level expectations for the preparation of criminal briefs and disclosure as well as civil discovery using software such as Nuix Discover and related technologies.Build relationships with regulatory teams to provide advice and recommendations on evidence management practices and the use of technology when reviewing documents to enable more effective investigation outcomes.Promote a positive team culture and ensure an efficient and effective team.About youA suitable candidate for this role will have:Extensive demonstrated experience in consulting, eDiscovery and evidence management in a professional services firm, law firm or enforcement agency to undertake this role. Qualifications in law, information technology or data science are desirable.Demonstrated team management and leadership capabilities including facilitating cooperative and high performing working relationships, setting clear direction and promoting knowledge sharing.Technical specialist skills and experience in the use of software such as Nuix Discover (Ringtail), Nuix Workstation, EDT, Access Data, Relativity or similar is highly desirable.
