About the role As the Small Engine Mechanic, you will report to the Branch Manager and are responsible for providing customers with an exceptional level of service through pickups/deliveries and maintenance/repair of small motor-powered equipment to exacting standards. This role requires you to: Repair and maintain equipment (primarily small petrol/gasoline and diesel engine equipment) to required standards to ensure our customers receive reliable and fit-for-purpose plant and equipment. Perform servicing and maintenance on the customer site as required, and document to render equipment serviceable in accordance with Kennards "Ready for Hire" standards. Adhere to Quality Operational Management (QOM) standards. Perform pickup/delivery and loading/unloading of equipment. Perform branch facilities cleaning and maintenance as required. A salary of $76,515 is on offer. We also pay weekend allowances and overtime in line with our Enterprise Agreement. About you Trade qualified as a small engine or motorcycle mechanic. At least 3 years experience in the field. A proven ability to be adaptable to changing priorities and work conditions, including the ability to work as part of a team and autonomously to complete tasks within required timeframes. Strong time management skills, including the ability to plan ahead and reschedule in accordance with changes in priorities. A manual Drivers License.
