All while staying committed to our member first ethos as a proud Industry Fund.About the roleThe primary responsibility of the role is to develop an integrated enterprise performance reporting capability and support finance partners with timely and insightful analytics to drive business performance across the superfund.Key responsibilities include producing management reports, conducting financial analysis, and providing high-quality and accurate performance reporting.The role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuously improving team policies, processes, and procedures.This role is a 12 month maximum term contract.Key AccountabilitiesDevelop financial performance reporting and analytics using online reporting tools.Provide timely, relevant, and accurate Management Performance Reporting and related analysis.Engage in business planning and performance measurement across both financial and non-financial metrics.Manage various board deliverables, including the annual Business Performance Review and Member Outcomes Assessment.Emphasize innovative report quality, delivery, analysis, and interpretation of performance against strategic plans and objectives within existing financial capabilities.Build and develop complex financial models to analyse data, supporting decision-making through strategic and scenario analysis.Regularly engage with the business on performance reporting to define, design, and deliver analysis and reporting solutions.Provide value-added analytics to offer insights beyond standard reporting.Develop and maintain periodic benchmarking.Handle ad-hoc data queries and analysis to support strategic insights and decision-making.What were looking forQualifications:Tertiary qualification and CPA or CA status (or equivalent).Experience:Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Finance Analyst, preferably in the Financial Services Industry, with large-scale industry super fund experience being highly regarded.Technical Skills:Advanced Excel skills, knowledge and experience with accounting systems and high-level reporting (Hyperion Budget and Forecasting preferred but not essential).Analytical Skills:Experience in delivering high-quality and insightful analysis to support business performance outcomes.Communication Skills:High level of verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal and presentation skills to reflect the collaborative and supportive requirement of the Finance team.Reporting Skills:Strong skills in delivering online, interactive reporting and analytics solutions (dashboards).Problem-Solving:High level of attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.Belong at CbusWe value difference, and embrace people with diverse backgrounds, experiences, gender identities, abilities and thinking styles.
