The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, bringing strong technical skills, a proactive mindset, and a collaborative approach to improving site quality and food safety performance.The role is a permanent night shift position working 10pm 6am, Sunday - Thursday based at our Orchard Hills site.What youll be responsible for:Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to support continuous improvement initiatives, audit readiness, and compliance with quality standards.Supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of the sites Food Safety and Quality Management System under the guidance of the Senior Quality and Food Safety Manager and Supervisor.Assisting with the implementation and improvement of site-wide GMP practices.Designing, delivering, and supporting training programs related to food safety and quality systems.Conducting internal audits and supporting external audits.Participating in HACCP reviews and contributing to the management of food safety plans.Managing non-conforming raw materials and finished goods.Investigating consumer complaints and reporting on findings and corrective actions.Reviewing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Providing technical support and compliance guidance to the production team.Support commissioning and set up of on-line and testing equipmentLead and analyse data trends to support root cause investigations; troubleshooting issues raised in Operations and resolving quality-related concerns in operations.What youll bring to the role?Tertiary qualification (e.g. Food Science, Science or related field)At least two years experience in a food safety or quality assurance rolePractical knowledge and application of HACCP principlesExperience conducting internal auditsStrong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.Exceptional time management, organisational and planning skillsWhat can you expect in return?A supportive working environment (with plenty of snacks on hand!) where you''ll feel engaged and valued, career growth and mentoring opportunities, Birthday Leave, Access to discounts on Retailers, onsite parking (including electric car charging stations) and a focus on health and wellness (like Wellbeing Days!) to make your workplace more enjoyable!If youre ready to take the next step in your quality career and contribute to a high-performing team and you wish to join a company where you can have pride and passion in what you do, please APPLY NOW!**Our application process includes an Application Form that will be emailed to you directly after your submission.
