This is a rare opportunity to apply your technical expertise in a high-performing, collaborative team based in Perth.About The TeamAt Wesfarmers, our General Insurance team is responsible for the management, administration and operation of the Groups risk financing and insurance program. The team works across a range of insurance functions including claims management, underwriting, placement and self-insurance.What Youll Be DoingReporting to our Insurance Services Manager, this full-time hands-on role will support the delivery and ongoing management of Wesfarmers Group insurance program. You will have a unique opportunity to work on complex programs across a diverse portfolio of businesses, contributing real value while continuing to develop and refine your expertise.Key Responsibilities IncludeProvide strategic and technical insurance advice across a diverse business portfolioBuild strong relationships with stakeholders across various industriesGather and analyse insurance and risk data to support decision-makingReview insurance policies, contracts, and regulatory developmentsSupport the design and implementation of annual insurance programsCollaborate on risk engineering initiatives and communicate their value to business unitsContribute to cross-functional projects and continuous improvement effortsOther projects and activities supporting the Insurance Services team as requiredWhat Youll NeedAt least 3 years experience in insurance, risk management, or broking - preferably within a complex or corporate environmentStrong technical knowledge of general insurance products and program designA keen understanding of contract reviews, insurance clauses, and risk implicationsProven ability to engage with stakeholders and communicate complex information clearlyExceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skillsA collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in contributing to a high-performing teamTertiary qualifications in insurance, business, law or a related field (or working towards)This role is ideal for candidates with solid risk or insurance experience, looking to expand their exposure and influence within a corporate environment.Internal role title: Insurance Services AdvisorAbout WesfarmersAs one of Australias largest listed companies, were proud of our longstanding contribution to Australians.
