Clinical Lead (Psychiatrist) Mental Health & Wellbeing Local Part Time (0.4 FTE) The service provides the full range of specialist public mental health services to a population of approximately 70,000 people across an area of 25,000 square kilometres. The Mental Health and Wellbeing Locals are an important part of Victorias reformed mental health and wellbeing system. In Mildura, Wellways, Mildura Base Public Hospital, Mallee District Aboriginal Services, and Sunraysia Community Health are working together to offer an accessible way to access care and support for people aged 26 years and over who are experiencing mental health concerns, including those with co-occurring alcohol and drug support and care needs, as well as their families and carers. In conjunction with the Clinical Director, the Clinical Lead will provide high-level clinical leadership, advice, and supervision to the service. This role is vital in ensuring that consumers, carers, and their families receive valuable and supportive mental health care. It also plays an integral role in shaping the delivery of mental health and wellbeing services and supports to the Sunraysia community.
