Ready to bring your best?How you will make contributions that matter:In this role you will drive and implement activity of continuous improvement and operational excellence at our Cobram site. This will combine strategy development, project and program execution, analysis of plant performance to identify opportunities for improvement that will impact and improve operational performance.This role requires a hands-on approach to drive continuous improvement at site level, as such it is a role where you can have a real impact and one which will utilise your critical thinking, analytical approach, mentoring and experience in senior leadership.This will include:Design & Implement CI Strategy, waste and efficiency improvement, leading change through people and implementing best practice systems and processes.Support functional & cross functional teams with analytics focused on improving the conversation of factory efficiency.Facilitate the development and execution the site strategy (A3, Charter, Pillar or Similar) in conjunction with the wider business priorities.Support in the progress of strategies to achieve the annual and future focus plan.Coach site leaders in operations in CI skills (e.g. RCAs, visual boards, initiative evaluation etc.).Scope projects and initiated to deliver the budgeted CI for financial year.Engage staff at all levels to drive improvement lead, coach and mentor in CI practices.About you:Were looking for someone with:Tertiary qualification in Business, Science, Technology, Engineering (or related discipline)Minimum 3 years Continuous Improvement, Manufacturing Management and/or Project Management experience. Food & beverage industry preferred, and dairy experience will be well regardedDemonstrated experience planning, developing and implementing programs of work that align to site and corporate objectives.Previous experience in undertaking financial and/or technical analysis/waste lossExperienced in managing Continuous Improvement initiatives across multiple functions providing both leadership and mentoring.Project Management expertise, skilled in Six Sigma, Lean and TPM methodologies.
