Our growth is driven by strong partnerships, customer-focused innovation, and an unwavering commitment to doing logistics differently.As the General Manager - Intermodal, you will be responsible for leading the safe and efficient performance of our intermodal operations. Youll drive operational excellence, embed a culture of safety and accountability, and with a growth mindset, lead the expansion of our network across other Australian states.Key Responsibilities:Lead the growth and optimisation of our intermodal operations across Sydney, Melbourne, and regional NSW with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.Develop and execute strategies to establish and scale intermodal operations in other Australian states.Champion a safety-first culture across all sites, ensuring adherence to HSE legislation and internal protocols.Deliver commercial and service outcomes that align with customer expectations and Visys values.Partner with Transport, Commercial, and Site Operations teams to ensure end-to-end delivery efficiency.Oversee site leadership teams, creating a high-performing, engaged workforce.Manage budgets, forecasting, and P&L performance across the division.Lead and support transformation initiatives, technology enablement, and national alignment of processes.About You:Minimum 10 years experience in senior leadership roles within transport, logistics, or intermodal operations.Proven track record in leading multi-site teams and scaling operations nationally.Strong commitment to workplace safety and experience embedding safe systems of work.Extensive experience in operational leadership, strategic planning, and P&L accountability.Collaborative and influential leader who builds high-performing teams and drives accountability.Passionate about growth innovation, operational excellence, and delivering value to customers.Why Visy Logistics?With a strong foundation and bold growth agenda, this is your opportunity to shape the future of intermodal logistics in Australia.
