With a team of over 170 staff , Brophy delivers an integrated suite of services across youth mental health, family support, housing, family violence, and early intervention , operating throughout Warrnambool, Hamilton, Portland , and surrounding communities. The Opportunity We are now seeking an outstanding leader to step into the role of Chief Executive Officer , continuing Brophy''s legacy while driving our future direction. This role will suit a leader who is motivated by genuine community impact, committed to systemic change, and capable of guiding strategic and operational excellence at scale. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and organisational oversight, ensuring alignment with Brophy''s mission, values, and long-term goals. Build and maintain trusted relationships with the Board, staff, community, government, partners, and funding bodies. Champion and evolve Brophy''s Advantaged Thinking framework in local and national contexts. Foster a high-performing, inclusive, and values-driven culture. Ensure strong financial stewardship, governance, risk management, and compliance. Actively contribute to sector leadership, advocacy, and place-based policy development. About You You are a seasoned and values-aligned executive leader with a demonstrated track record in leading complex, purpose-driven organisations, ideally in the community services, health, or broader not-for-profit sector. You will bring: Proven experience in strategic leadership, change management, and stakeholder engagement. Strong understanding of regional and place-based service delivery and the role of community anchor organisations. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and advocacy skills. A commitment to social justice, strengths-based practice, and inclusive leadership. Experience working with a Board in a governance framework. Relevant tertiary qualifications in social sciences, health, community services, business, or related fields. Why Brophy?
