Full Job DescriptionOur client is proudly Australia''s leading steel manufacturing and distribution company.They are currently seeking a dependable and safety-minded Labourer to support cleaning operations of shredders and related equipment at their recycling facility. This role plays a key part in maintaining efficient processing of recyclable materials, reducing downtime, and ensuring a safe, clean working environment.Key Responsibilities:Perform daily and periodic cleaning of industrial shredders, conveyors, and sorting equipment.Remove metal, plastics, wires, and other recyclable debris from shredders and screensUse hand tools and light power tools to dislodge and clear material buildupAssist in scheduled equipment shutdowns for deep cleaning and inspectionsMaintain cleanliness of surrounding work areas and walkways to reduce slip/trip hazardsHandle recyclable waste responsibly and separate materials as per facility guidelinesComplete cleaning checklists, logs, and report issues to supervisors promptlySupport other general labour and housekeeping duties as assignedRequirements:Ability to work on your feet for extended periodsStrong attention to detail and quick reflexesComfortable working in environments that may be dusty, noisy, or involve repetitive tasksPrevious experience in a similar role (manufacturing, recycling, mining) is a plusMust be dependable, safety-conscious, and team-orientedForklift ticketPass pre-employment medical and Drug and Alcohol screeningIt is essential you have your current Driving Licence and reliable transport.Aboriginal and Torres Strait identified candidates are encouraged to apply.If this sounds like the role you''ve been looking for Apply Now.Debbie HewgillDelivery ConsultantManpowerGroup is committed to being a Diversity Confident Recruiter and encourages applications from people from a diverse range of backgrounds, including people with a disability.
