Batch & Drive We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, customer-focused go-getter to join the Heidelberg Materials Australia team at our Warrnambool Concrete Plant. Located 3 hours west of Melbourne. The Concrete Batcher/Agitator Driver has excellent career development potential with opportunities to learn about concrete, quarry materials, plant operation, batching, scheduling, and logistics within the construction industry. Along with batching, you will also have the opportunity to operate a truck to deliver our product to customers. If you do not already hold a valid HR licence, the opportunity to obtain one is available for the right candidate. In Your New Role With Us, You Will Be Oversee the operation of a concrete batch plant Operate a front-end loader (FEL) Interact with customers, take orders, and schedule deliveries Work in a high-performing team, collaborating with other local plants to deliver positive outcomes for Hanson and the customer Demonstrate safety awareness and show leadership potential Ensure all products meet strict quality requirements Monitor plant and equipment, schedule, and conduct maintenance as required Manage maintenance and production tasks, including manual handling Deliver concrete to customers This role is a great fit if you Are an effective communicator with a team mentality and ability to work independently Seek a flexible roster that includes Saturday work and overtime Hold a Heavy Rigid (HR) licence Are looking to obtain a Construction Card / White Card Support our Zero Harm safety policy Can physically perform all tasks associated with the position What We Offer $31.77 per hour, plus penalties, plus superannuation Monday Friday, generally 6:00/7:00 am 3:30/4:00 pm Rostered half-day Saturdays, working on average 3 per month 10-day training program on operating the agitator and slump concrete Opportunity to obtain HR licence for the right candidate FEL ticket (if not already achieved) Be part of a highly recognized global brand and growing organization Ongoing training and development opportunities Our Benefits At Heidelberg Materials Australia, we value your well-being and professional growth.
