Add expected salary to your profile for insightsAn exciting opportunity is available at Border Express for an ICT Asset Coordinator based at our Albury Branch.You will be working under the direction of the Support Services Manager and will be responsible for the planning, purchasing, monitoring, controlling, allocation and disposal of Border Expresss ICT hardware and software assets.Your pragmatic, customer focused, and professional approach will promote excellence within the ICT support services team. In order to effectively manage the ICT asset portfolio you will also work towards developing processes, policies and procedures, with an aim to eliminate waste, maintain compliance, enhance security, increase the efficiency of asset utilisation and provide visibility of ICT assets and lifecycles.Key Responsibilities:Coordination of asset management activities, utilising inventory management controls to ensure appropriate record management, storage, purchasing and allocation of both physical and digital ICT assets.Coordinating and monitoring the purchase, lease, warranty and renewal of ICT software and hardware to ensure efficient acquisition, contract negotiation and deployment of assets.Developing and maintaining processes, policies and systems to effectively manage and provide visibility on the ICT asset portfolio (software and hardware) with regards to budgeting, forecasting, cost, control, risk, compliance and ICT Governance.Monitoring and administration of software licenses to ensure the organisation is compliant with license agreements and usage standards.Coordinating ICT support projects, such as hardware and software deployments and supporting boarder ICT initiativesProviding advice and support to stakeholders on asset requests and disposal to ensure compliance with approved legislation, standards, policies and procedures.Providing back up support for the ICT support team, including but not limited to answering ICT support calls, responding to tickets through the ICT ticketing systems, assisting users in troubleshooting software and hardware issues.Knowledge and ExperienceProven experience in an ICT Asset Coordinator, ICT Support or similar role and/or tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.Strong knowledge of IT hardware and software, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely to a non-technical audience.Experience and strong communication skills in negotiating with vendors, including software licencing negotiations.Proven ability to develop high quality documentation and maintain asset management records with a strong attention to detail.Excellent analytical and problem solving/critical thinking skills with a demonstrated ability to produce quality results in a face-pasted, evolving environment.Join a team that delivers excellence every timeAt Border Express, weve been setting the standard for exceptional service and results for over 40 years.
