Job Description

The Team:Provides leadership in the planning, development and implementation of the recommendations related to Statewide Mental Health Services (SMHS) Alcohol and Other Drugs (AoD) Sector Reform.Supports the organisational change development, implementation and review of frameworks, policies, systems, and processes that support the key project deliverables to be achieved within the identified target dates.Provides definitive high-level strategic advice to a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.The Role:Actively contribute to various meetings, be a positive role model and advocate for reform.Collaborate with and support other SMHS Reform Project Officers to ensure that the delivery of strategic reform programs is consistent and integrated across SMHS.Develop highly effective and productive relationships and manage networks with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.Undertake specific project management functions associated the SMHS Reform Program in a health services environment including AoD system linkages with external agencies.You will need to:Provide high level advice and contribute to the formulation of strategies, plans, policies, systems, and processes for the development of evidence-based service delivery frameworks for the AoD sector in accordance with the project plan and relevant legislation, Government policy, contemporary practice, and quality guidelines.Provide leadership, establish goals and strategies, and drive the implementation and ongoing management of the AoD Sector Reform initiatives associated with the project.Undertake the preparation and provision of high-level briefings and advice regarding strategy, policy and regulation issues associated with the AoD Sector Reform project including the implications for SMHS and the broader reform program.Note: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.Details of appointment:Permanent full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.Salary: $128,102 to $134,832 per annum.
