You must be based in Melbourne for this role Our opening hours are 8am 8pm, Monday to Friday; and Saturday to Sunday 8am 6pm (AEST). This is a permanent full-time position Shift: Either Monday Friday 9:15am - 5pm OR 11:15am - 8pm There is mandatory structured training in the first 4-6 weeks (mix of office and home based) Your career pathway is endless with the direct lending team. As a Home Lending Specialist, you will take accountability over every interaction, identifying your customers needs, offering solutions and maintaining regular contact to drive positive outcomes and experiences. Our pre-qualification team are there are assist you by transferring warm leads to you. Your customers will be pre-qualified so that you are able to build quick rapport and provide them with the relevant information and service throughout their home buying journey. Your team in Melbourne will work alongside our experienced Brisbane Home Loan Sales teams with their knowledge of best practice routines and disciplines to ensure success in your career with us. Your Impact Purchasing a home is a key life milestone for your customer, so your role as a Home Lending Specialist is integral in ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience. Whether this be their first or second home, an investment property, a refinance or maybe a construction/renovation of their dream home you will be there to guide your customer through the process. Your responsibilities will include; but are not limited to: Creating long-lasting relationships with customers and business partners by displaying professional credibility, trust and confidence in every interaction. Identifying and understanding the customers objectives and goals. You will do this by effective questioning techniques and refer complex financial needs to the appropriate specialist when necessary. Ensuring customer applications are compliant and that delegated security checks are undertaken in a diligent manner. Having a deep understanding and knowledge of product features, processes and policies to: Lead a lending interview with confidence Facilitate customer retention Identify the customers financial needs and; by using needs-based conversations, you will uncover further financial needs Resolving and responding to customers queries or complaints in a timely and effective manner. Dealing with a variety of internal and external customers to deliver exceptional customer experience. Understanding the broader market and economic and industry changes impacting the customer and the Group. Your Capability You will have some experience in home lending Ability to work in a team and want to be part of a high performing one You have a continuous improvement mindset, challenge the status quo and always pro-actively look for new ways to deliver exceptional customer service. You are always eager to learn and upskill You display empathy toward customers and be able to interact with a range of customers. You are organised and have great time management skills Adapting to change is not difficult for you. Above all, you are self-motivated and passionate about guiding your customer through their home buying journey whether that be their first or second home, investment property, refinancing, building or renovating.
