Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, this role will drive career development, learning, and engagement initiatives, while also shaping early-career programs that attract and nurture emerging talent. Its an exciting opportunity for someone with a pragmatic and consultative approach to make a real impact in a growing business. Youll provide both strategic and operational support, working closely with leaders to drive talent management, learning, and development initiatives. Youll also play a vital role in identifying and nurturing emerging talent within our high-performing teams, working closely with managers to support their ongoing career development. Youll also establish Betashares graduate program and other early-career initiatives, ensuring a structured, engaging experience for people joining the business. If youre passionate about people development, career progression, and building future talent pipelines, wed love to hear from Role Responsibilities Collaboratively work with relevant stakeholders to create career development strategies and high-performance plans that align with business objectives. Design and implement strategic learning and development initiatives that empower employees to continuously improve and grow within the company. Manage performance reviews, probationary assessments, and career milestone processes, ensuring consistency and fairness. Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance and career development, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to support their teams effectively. Develop and execute an early-career program, including a graduate program, to attract and nurture emerging talent. Identify skill gaps across teams and create tailored training programs, including working with appropriate external speakers and facilitators for targeted learning experiences. Analyse People metrics to provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership, driving data-informed decision-making. Lead employee engagement initiatives, including cyclical People & Culture activities such as gathering feedback, action planning, and implementing improvements that enhance the employee experience. Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing culture by working closely with people leaders. Remain up-to-date with employment legislation and best practices. Skills & Experience Minimum 5 years'' experience in a similar role. Strong understanding of HR principles and workplace relations legislation. Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills. Strong communication skills with attention to detail. Organised and able to manage multiple priorities. Proven ability to manage HR projects and drive continuous improvement. Strong problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, and experience in internal communications.
