About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Officer to join our team, we are open to options and would consider permanent full time, part time (job share) for our role based in Redfern. The Payroll Officer ensures the accurate processing of the payroll, including timesheets, leave, termination calculations, superannuation and other payroll calculations. They are the go-to person for payroll queries via email. Key Responsibilities: Process end-to-end fortnightly payroll for 11000 employees within a team / 1000 employees individually Process payruns weekly (based on fortnightly pay period) Process payroll autonomously with the iChris payroll software Calculation and payment of termination payments Respond to worker queries as required to ensure that matters or issues are resolved in a timely and accurate manner Undertake required processes in iChris and Salvos Workday to ensure accurate and effective data management About you Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong analytical and minimum of 2-4 years payroll experience. Its essential that you have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in payroll. Demonstrate 2 years experience in a similar payroll processing role Exposure to high volume, fast paced environment Comprehensive knowledge of payroll legislation and award interpretation A strong analytical background and proficient Excel skills Demonstrable experience in superior customer service Exposure to multiple EAs and award Why work for us?
