An exciting opportunity to be part of the wider Managed Fund Services team within Perpetual Corporate Trust. Join the Custody Payments team within Managed Fund Services as a Client Service Officer and become a key player in supporting our clients with precision, care, and professionalism. As a Client Service Officer, you will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of 40 valued clients. Youll play a critical role in ensuring smooth financial operations, timely execution of client instructions, and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships. About the Role Manage and nurture a portfolio of 40 clients, ensuring high satisfaction and engagement Respond to client enquiries regarding services, financial products, fees, and conditions Process a wide range of payments including domestic, international, BPAY, and Direct Entry Files Validate client instructions, perform call-backs, and ensure compliance with signatory requirements Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of client instructions Handle equity transfers, FX bookings, and settlement processes (DVP, Cash, On Market) Perform account reconciliations and manage high-volume, high-value transactions Facilitate account openings, closures, term deposits, and bank audit confirmations Identify operational risks and contribute to mitigation strategies. About you The ideal candidate will ideally have experience in client facing and operational roles, with hands on knowledge of processing domestic and international payments, including BPay, EFT and RTGS: Previous experience in financial services, particularly in payment and or client services in a banking environment will be highly regarded Previous experience with Banking Platforms with demonstrated experience in a payment processing Familiarity with CHESS and Austraclear Experience with International, RTGS, DE and BPAY payments Strong client service orientation with excellent communication skills Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
