About the team: The D&I Data and Analytics team is part of the Data and Integration Platform team within ASX Technologys Engineering division. We are a trusted partner and platform operator, empowering our customers to safely access, understand and share data, and create sustainable solutions in an agile way. What you will be doing: Design, implement, maintain, automate, optimise, and operate scalable, highly available, performant and secure datasets, pipelines, and analytics on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and on premises platforms. Apply IT Service Operations processes and functions including, incident management, problem management, change management, event management, request fulfillment, access management, service desk, technical management, application management, and IT Operations management. Collaborate with Data Engineering, Automation and DevOps teams to support data ingestion, processing, and analytics workflows. Configure and administer streamlined data access for the discovery, profiling, analysis, consumption and application of Data Platform datasets and analytical services. Apply data governance and security policies, processes and standards including data classification, catalogues, metadata, data handling/protection, encryption, access controls, and IAM policies. Design, build, monitor and report on platform performance, capacity, security, data quality, trend analyses, forecasting to plan and implement changes as required to maintain service level obligations and high levels of customer satisfaction. Plan, execute and document non-functional testing of data platform infrastructure, applications, pipelines, interfaces, and datasets. Respond to incidents outside of business hours as a member of a rotational on-call roster as well as participate in change implementations outside of business hours, including weekends. What you will bring : Must have Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 2 years of experience in IT service management and cloud operations, analytics operations, data operations or a related field with proficiencies in AWS cloud services and data management processes. Amazon Web Services (AWS) data pipeline and analytics experience including DataZone, AWS Data Migration Service, AWS Lake Formation, AWS Glue, Iceberg Tables, Amazon Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow (MWAA), CloudTrail, S3, Redshift, QuickSight, Athena and SageMaker. AWS Associate certification Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration experience. Proficient in Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Terraform. Strong scripting and automation skills using SQL, Python and Bash. Ability to assess and report across data quality dimensions. Understanding of data governance and data management frameworks and strategies. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex data issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams to deliver high levels of customer service and satisfaction. Ability to multitask and switch context quickly and calmly in a high-pressure environment. Nice to have: Experience with a variety of analytics including descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, prescriptive, interactive, real-time, and operational analytics via dashboards, visualisations, reporting and machine learning.
