This is a Project Planner - Expression of Interest role with RES based in Sydney, NSW, AU RES Role Seniority - mid level More about the Project Planner - Expression of Interest role at RES Description Upcoming Job Expression of Interest Full time job opportunity Remote Hybrid work model About the Role: The Project Planner will provide support and expertise to the RES Construction Management team, working across wind farm and solar construction projects in Australia. The role will include managing the master and contractor schedules as well as monitoring the key performance indicators of RES projects (cost, time, safety, quality and environmental performance) and reporting to the Planning and Project Controls Manager. We can promise you rewarding work which makes a real impact, the chance to learn from inspiring colleagues from across a growing, global network and opportunities to grow personally and professionally Key Safety Responsibilities include but not limited to: Review and manage contractor schedules, assess progress, and maintain effective communication with contractors and stakeholders Support risk identification and mitigation related to project scheduling and delivery Assist the Project Manager with reviewing contractual claims (e.g. EoT) and providing input from the Principals Representative Oversee specific work packages, manage contractor performance, and ensure quality and HSEQ compliance Contribute to regular project reporting on construction progress, risks, program delivery, cost, and safety performance Support contractor procurement processes, including scoping, tendering, and contract coordination Skills & Experience: Proficient in project scheduling and tools including MS Project, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Excel Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, reporting, and schedule risk identification Skilled in developing master project schedules and managing interfaces and dependencies Adaptable, innovative, and effective in both independent and team-based virtual environments Proven ability to review contractor reports, identify delays, and support proactive project management Proven experience as a Planning Engineer, Project Planner or in a similar role. Relevant post graduate experience of multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects. Proficient understanding of project management knowledge areas. Qualifications: Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) Full Australian drivers license Primavera P6 certification highly regarded Project Management certifications (PMP, Prince2, CPPM, etc.) highly regarded Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong HSEQ and safety focus Please let us know if you have any special requirements or need any sort of assistance during the interview.
