Join to apply for the Meat Process Worker role at Bindaree Food Group2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the Meat Process Worker role at Bindaree Food GroupIntroduction:Bindaree Food Group (BFG) is a vertically integrated supply chain business delivering global meat solutions both domestically and internationally and has solidified its position as a prominent leader in the Australian meat industry.Our Value Add Facility is conveniently located in the sunny Burleigh Heads, Gold Coast, close to the M1 Pacific Motorway.Description:The Role:Process workers are responsible for the day-to-day operations in their designated section, including processing to production plan, meeting food safety and quality standards and compliance with workplace health and safety policies.Reporting to the Production Supervisor. This position has no direct reports.Skills, abilities, and experience required:Operate any processing equipment per Safe Work Instructions (SWIs) only when signed off as competent to do so.Perform pre-start checks, adjusting settings and troubleshooting production line equipmentCommunicate issues as they arise within their shift, with the Shift Supervisor and or process leader when required.To be involved in continuous improvement and have a positive attitude towards implementing changes to improve Company performance.Liaise with Operators and assistants on opposite shift to ensure a smooth changeover occurs between shifts.Comply with and adhere to all relevant safety, quality and people related policies and proceduresComplete any production record requirements for your section/production line.Ensure all product produced is correctly labelled to meet internal and/or specific customer requirements.To be successful in these roles you will ideally have or be:Previous experience with processing equipment as per safety requirementsWorking with cutting, slicing, grinding, packing machines or process work in a retail ready meat processor or food industry experience is desirableExcellent attention to detailKnowledge of food handling and very high standard of hygiene in your work areaAbility to work on a fast-paced, high volume production lineGood Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Health and Safety awarenessAbility to perform quality checks.Great communication skills with the ability to work as part of a teamFit, strong and able to perform repetitive manual handling tasks in a fast-paced environmentAbility to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol testOwn transportWhat we have to offer:Monday to Friday full-time hours availableA great culture - supportive, collaborative, and stable2 shifts available:5:00am - 1:06pm12:45pm - 8:51pmThe opportunity to work with multiple food manufacturing machinesStaff perks and discountsGreat location in Burleigh Heads, Gold CoastTake the next step in your career, if this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.
