Our experts are skilled in project transport solution design, special cargo transportation, specialized transport asset management, and project management services, including detailed planning, orchestration, and sequencing of end-to-end shipments from suppliers to often remote and austere destination sites.By leveraging our strong brand and capacity control across our products combined with strong project logistics capabilities, Maersk offers our customers a competitive advantage to deliver project logistics outcomes with a high degree of reliability and resiliency.The Project Manager has the ownership of the operational execution across Ocean and Logistics and is responsible for file creation, coordination and closure of shipment files.Location: Sydney, Brisbane or MelbourneOn any given day, the key responsibilities of the Operation Agen will be:Understanding of external factors impacting Customers supply Chain &understand their sense of urgency, service needs, drivers and desires.Ability to align with customer expectations upfront & to be able torespond with suggested solutionsProactively track shipments and notify customers of relevantdeviations from the transport plan, including potential solutions oralternatives.Onboard customers and build strong and collaborative relationships, with willingness to go the extra mile towards the customers & with focus onproviding solutions.Liaising and preparing transport plan with suppliersWe are looking for:Excellent stakeholder management and communication skillsVery organized, proactive anddynamicPrioritization capabilitiesUnderstanding of the local regulationsStrong execution mindsetSolution orientedAnalyticalTeam playerCustomer orientedCost conscious and optimizationContinuous improvementPreferred candidates will be required to undertake reference checks as well aspre-employment screening, including a National Police Check.
