Within this position you will work as a member of the perioperative team by supporting and supervising theatre personnel to prepare the operating theatre environment for procedures.Duties in this role will include:Prepping surgical theatres for a variety of different proceduresAssisting with the safe transfer of patients on and off the operating tableUndertake designated cleaning tasks in accordance with Infection control policies and proceduresAssisting in the theatres where required by other clinical staffMaintaining surgical equipment and patient positioning devicesTransporting and supporting theatre patients throughout their Perioperative journey.Your Skills and ExperienceTo succeed in this role, you will be an enthusiastic individual with a passion for customer service who enjoys being part of a busy team.You will also bring:1-year minimum Tech experience within an operating theatre (Desired)Certificate III in Operating Theatre Technician Practice/Health Services Assistant or equivalent (Essential).
