The Opportunity Come and join our team! We are seeking a Community Disability Support Worker located in Schofield. You will be responsible for supporting a customer with daily living tasks, supporting them to live an independent and holistic life. Each day may look a little different but your work will be centered around: Providing support in everyday activities around the home Providing support with hygiene and personal care Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment Assisting with medication compliance, which may include dispensation of prescription medication Meal assistance, including meal preparation Shifts Offered Saturday: 9 AM - 11 AM Sunday: 9 AM - 11 AM Requirements A minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Individual Support Drivers License, reliable vehicle, and comprehensive car insurance At least one year experience as a Disability Support Worker NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months), & National police clearance, or willingness to obtain What We Offer Flexible shifts to suit your lifestyle, work/life balance needs, and availability Above-average casual rates Paid travel between client shifts (minimum distance applies) Employee referral bonus of $300 Retail perks and discounts through Flare benefits Paid induction training Paid annual training for mandatory modules On-the-job advice and mentoring from a field support leader Career pathways Shine Awards Employee of the month Our Values We are a values-led organization that brings energy, acts with integrity, nurtures and cares, and listens and connects.
