The Midfield Group is privately owned and operates a true Paddock to Plate experience, owning farms, factories, and distribution channels to ensure control over the livestock from paddock to plate. The Midfield Group (through MBC National) is looking for a Cook to join our team at the Union Station Hotel in Woolsthorpe, Victoria. Main Duties & Responsibilities Examining food to ensure quality Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills, and other cooking equipment Preparing and cooking food Seasoning food during cooking Portioning food, plating, and adding gravies, sauces, and garnishes Storing food in temperature-controlled facilities Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements Planning menus and estimating food requirements Training other kitchen staff (if applicable) Skills & Experiences AQF Certificate III with at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3) Alternatively, at least three years of relevant experience may substitute formal qualifications Legal right to work in Australia Ability to pass a drug & alcohol test, and willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical and Q Fever Vaccination if required Salary Range: AUD 65,000 to AUD 75,000 Enjoy competitive remuneration, secure employment, and career development opportunities, with on-site perks such as canteen, staff discounts, and free parking.
