We are currently hiring a heavy vehicle driver in the Riverland SA region and surrounds (based at Glossop), driving a sideloading waste vehicle.As a part of our Solo team, you will benefit from:A competitive base hourly rate;Company uniform and PPE items provided;On the job training with experienced operators;Driving reliable, safe, well maintained vehicles;A professional, team oriented work environment;Job security, with a long standing, family owned and operated waste management Company.To be successful in this role you must:have a HR licence as a minimum;have a good driving history (a current driving record will be required to be presented at the interview);be able to start early in the mornings;be reliable, honest and a team player;be safety conscious and have the ability to adhere to Company OHS policies and best practice;possess good communications skills;have good attention to detail;have a can-do attitude and enthusiasm.Waste industry experience is desired, but not essential all HR experienced drivers are encouraged to apply!In accordance with our Companys recruitment process, all successful applicants will be required to undergo a Pre Employment Medical, which includes a drug test.
