This is a temporary Medical Secretary role at Emerald Place Clinic, a general adolescent inpatient unit for the care and treatment of young people aged 13 up to the age of 18. The Medical Secretary will be responsible for providing administrative support to the medical team, including managing diaries, planning meetings, updating records, and liaising with external agencies to get up-to-date information on service users. Main duties of the job The Medical Secretary will support the Registered Clinician with letters and documentation, act as a minute taker for meetings, receive and type records, check and amend for spelling and grammatical errors, and participate in regulatory administration, development, and evaluation. They will also coordinate the hospital diary, book meetings, and arrange conference calls.
