We are currently seeking a passionate Educator to join our vibrant Gledswood Hills Service.As an Educator at Young Academics, you will contribute to providing high-quality, inclusive education and care. Youll inspire others through your experience, work closely with assistant educators and ensure every child in your care feels safe, supported and inspired to learn.This position is a part time lunch cover role - Monday to Friday between 9am-3pm or 10am-4pm.ResponsibilitiesAssist the Room Leader in providing high quality education and careDevelop and deliver an inclusive and innovative program.Apply approved learning frameworks (EYLF) that promote each child''s identity, connection to community, wellbeing, learning confidence, and communication skills.Maintain a safe environment, proactively managing risks and adhering to health and hygiene protocols.Lead by example in all interactions, fostering a respectful and collaborative team culture.Partner with families to support their childrens development and education goals.Build & maintain clear and accurate communication within the team, children and families, and nurture professional, supportive and respectful relationshipsAbout YouDemonstrated experience in planning, documentation, and implementing programs for children 0-6 years with regards to current pedagogies and frameworks.Currently enrolled in or completed Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care from a nationally approved registered training organisation or an ACECQA-approved qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS and sector regulationsCurrent First Aid training and CPR CertificateValid NSW Employee Working with Children CheckCommitment to upholding a Child Safe Organisation and inclusive practicesChild Safety MattersAt Young Academics, we prioritise childrens safety and well-being.
