Experience the rewards of making a difference in older peoples lives by showing compassion and providing high quality, safe care.The opportunityWe are currently seeking Support Workers who are enthusiastic and passionate about providing a caring, compassionate, respectful and high-quality support to our consumers.You will be making a meaningful impact by helping older people to live safely and confidently in their own homes.The Role Will InvolveProviding in-home care including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, cleaning, laundry tasks, and other household chores.Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and self-medication monitoring.Escorting consumers in community outings, including grocery shopping, social activities, and appointments.BenefitsMore take-home pay with competitive salary packaging options up to $15,990, Novated leasing, plus an optional Meals and Entertainment card up to $2,650 per annumBetter work-life balance with consistent fortnightly rosters patterns for permanent positions - no rotating rosters!Confidential access to our Employee Assistance ProgramEmployee Referral Program - refer a friend and be rewarded.Requirements For The RoleA Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent is essential, with competency in medication assistance highly desirable.Recent experience in community care or aged care through employment or formal caregiving.Experience with technology and ability to using mobile devices for work tasks.Strong understanding of aged care quality standards and safe work practices.Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.Excellent attention to detail, be honest and reliable, and possess a positive and flexible attitude.Warm, open approach that builds trust with clients, helping them feel safe and supported.Other RequirementsA current, full drivers licence for the State of Victoria which is appropriate for the type of vehicle being driven and comply with any restrictions on their licence (e.g. wearing glasses).
