All our services work closely together to deliver excellence in healthcare to achieve improved outcomes for our consumers, workforce and the Tasmanian community guided by our CARE values.The Role:The Theatre Hospital Aide provides and assists in maintaining a safe surgical environment and adequate sterile and consumable stock for the Operating Room Suite. In addition, the role prepares case set ups and assists with between case turnarounds.You will need:The successful applicant will maintain knowledge and practice of hygiene and infection control in a theatre environment.The Theatre Hospital Aide is responsible for providing timely set up of surgical equipment and supplies.The Theatre hospital Aide is an integral part of the dynamic interdisciplinary team in the ORS, providing a safe and efficient service for patients on the perioperative journey.Note: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.Details of appointment:Permanent, part time, shift worker position, working 24 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as you can join the team.notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.Salary: $67,193 to $72,126 per annum (Pro rata).
