If you are passionate about motivating and inspiring the community then We WANT YOU!The CentreBelgravia Leisurehas been awarded a three-year contract to manage the City of Sydneys iconic leisure and aquatic centres.In managing these centres it employs people in roles such as lifeguards, learn to swim instructors, fitness coaches, centre management, and corporate functions.All employees are expected to work across the different locations and contribute to the Contracts imperatives of operating sustainably, driving centre attendance, and fostering inclusion for all members of the community.Are you renowned as a people person?Do you love living near, working in, or visiting iconic Sydney locations?Are you proud of your city, and keen to be an ambassador for others?Do you love seeing active people having access to all their local communities have to offer?Do you take safety, wellness and inclusion seriously?And most importantly, do you have current availability including the ability to work early mornings, late afternoons and on weekends?The RoleDo you have a passion for working with children?We are seeking a Casual and Part time Creche Attendant to join our fantastic team at Gunyama Park Aquatic & Recreation Centre, Zetland.About the roleMaintaining an interactive and safe environment for childrenMaintaining a high level of customer serviceSupervising children (aged 8 weeks - 6 years) and ensuring the Creche is not left unattended at any timePerforming clerical tasks such as incident forms and reportsFront of house Customer ServiceAssisting the Creche Manager in booking and communicating with parentsEssential CriteriaPassion for working with children, and ability to interact with them in a positive, sensitive and respectful mannerAbility to build relationships with children and familiesCurrent First Aid and CPR CertificateCertificates in Asthma and AnaphylaxisCurrent Working with Children CheckCurrent National Police Check (dated within 30 days prior to employment start date)Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and CareWeekday & Saturday availability (Between 7:45am - 14:15pm)1+ years of experience working with children aged 8 weeks - 6 yearsCultural sensitivity and able to work across the communityBasic computer skillsDesirable CriteriaExperience working in the Sport & Leisure industryLocated within the City of Sydney RegionBenefitsGrowth and opportunities to gain extra employmentFree membership to Sydney''s newest Aquatic & Recreation VenueIf you like the sound of us, then jump in and submit your application.
