PremiAir has 14 locations across Australia and in every depot, we are committed to providing our customers with unrivalled service excellence and efficient solutions.Whether its on the racetrack or in the field, our team spirit & zest for success is truly something!That is why we want the best to join the best!About the RolePremiAir has a permanent full-time position available for a hardworking and reliable Yard Person to join our busy team in our Newcastle (Thornton) depot.Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, the main responsibility of the role is to prepare equipment ready for hire, coordinate assets through process and maintain the yard and storage areas. Deliver/collect of equipment as required.DutiesThe main duties and responsibilities of the role include:Washing of returned equipment preparation ready for hireProcessing of equipment returns and assist with gathering and recording off hires information (refuel / hours used/damages etc)Ensure returned from hire are refueled (if required) and entered on fuel log.Assisting workshop staff with servicing and repairsKeeping the yard clean and arranging equipment as neededMust be available for flexible start and finish timesMust be available to work on a rotating after-hours, on-call rosterUte deliveries and collection of rental equipmentas required.Skills and ExperienceYou must possess a strong sense of urgency with an "I will make it happen" attitude to get the job done. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:A valid Forklift licence and White Card is requiredMR or HR license is preferred but not essential to be considered for this positionExcellent driving record and safety focused and has previous experience making deliveries and towing/reversing trailers or equipmentAble to follow instructions and work unsupervised and pays attention to detailIs self-motivated and takes pride in their work and has a great work ethicIs reliable and punctual and has excellent work ethicsIs focused on providing the best service to our customersIs capable of performing physical activitiesCan work overtime, including weekends when neededPrevious experience and success in a similar role will be highly regarded, however, the successful applicants will be appointed primarily based on attitude and the desire to assist the business in the next phase of growth.CulturePremiAir is a family-owned private business with a hands-on, make-it-happen culture at all levels of the organisation.
