Youll be helping Red Cross support vulnerable people across Australia. The program Helping locals and regulars feel at home in our store and providing great customer service. The Red Cross Shop Volunteer is a voluntary position, working with a team supporting the Rockhampton Branch Executives in the efficient and effective running of the shop. The store is operated by the Rockhampton Red Cross branch as a fundraising activity. The opportunity If you have a flair for retail and presentation, we would love to hear from you! This role suits someone who enjoys customer service and working in a team. Responsibilities include sorting, labelling donated items, serving customers, and if comfortable handling money, may also include end-of-day register reconciliations. It requires a weekly commitment. The impact As a Red Cross Shop Volunteer, you will provide a positive experience and a much-needed service to customers at the Red Cross Rockhampton shop, while raising money for the Australian Red Cross. Red Cross will provide training, ongoing support, and access to other opportunities within the worlds largest humanitarian network.
