The position plays a vital role in executing transport operations'' activities while liaising with other functions within the business autonomously.What You Will Enjoy DoingIn this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the driver paperwork aligns with the work scheduled and product loadedYou will liaise with the customer service, scheduler and/or account managers to support with customer enquiries and deliveries, connect with the drivers to communicate and execute the business requirements as they ariseIn addition, you will process and assemble picklists for the loads, facilitate shipment inspection, settlements and trip confirmationsResponsible for admin data entry functions relevant to distributionsMonitor and evaluate driver compliance to use scanner for completion of the runs and report areas of improvementFurthermore, you will be responsible for timely reporting of hazards, injuries, and accidentsWhat Makes You Great1-3 years of experience in transport operations and despatchIn addition, you have Secondary School Certificate with Logistics diploma, certificate or equivalent (preferable)Knowledge of SAP systems and processes and MS suiteExposed to the use of scanners for deliveriesFinally, you will be adept in technology and have the ability to learn new IT systemsWhy you will love working with usAt Linde we identify ourselves with our products either working for the technical or medical gases business.
