Youll work closely with Train Crew, Operational Staff, Maintenance and Terminal teams, as well as Network Control, in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. This role offers valuable hands-on experience, where youll assist in a variety of rail operational tasks while being supported by a dedicated team.Your Training JourneyInitial paid classroom & practical training (38 hours per week).Assist in various rail operational tasks, gaining hands-on experience in a supportive environment.For the duration of the classroom training program, you will be paid $30.35 gross per hour plus super.What Were Looking ForThe ideal candidate will be:Adaptable:Comfortable handling changing environments and challenges.Reliable:Dependable in attendance, safety, and teamwork.Eager to Learn:Keen to develop new skills in the rail industry.Local:Residing in or near Greta/Newcastle.RequirementsAbility to pass a CAT 1 Rail Medical and fitness assessment.Current full Class C or higher Drivers Licence (no restrictions).Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).Basic computer skillsStrong literacy and numeracy skills to complete written assessments.Ready to Start your Rail Career?If youre ready to embark on a new career in rail, submit your expression of interest today!How to ApplyClickAPPLYto register your interest.
